Now Playing: Graduation by Kanye West

I did it! After four years of late-night red pepper visits, and more cups of coffee than I care to admit, I found myself surrounded by fellow grads trying to line up in order of program and degree, you would have thought we were seventh graders trying to get in line for lunch. I graduated with a degree in Marketing and a Minor in Communication, tons of memories, and long-term, eventually long-distance friendships dating back to Noren Hall.

I don't typically get too emotional but I can't help but reminisce on the freshman days of trying to remain on the good side of parking police and looking forward to a warm greeting from Jan at Squires, to senior year, planning two separate large-scale events three weeks before graduation. It's crazy to see how far I have come as an individual and as a professional.

Along the way, I've had the pleasure of meeting some truly amazing people – random classmates who feel like close coworkers for 12 weeks, professors that challenged my perspectives and encouraged me to grow, clubs and friends, coworkers, and supervisors. All of these people have seen me through the highs and lows of college and created a community filled with support and laughs. Whether it was with a Zoom call or just a wave, as we collectively submitted final group presentations, likely never to see each other again, thank you.
